The contest will accommodate many different styles, from the more folk and popular genres like salsa, to even the more modern ones like reggaeton. Timing:
It will be scored from 0 to 10 as follows: All participants will start with 10 points and 1 will be subtracted each time one of them steps outside the time chosen for the choreography.
This area is valued with 30% of the final vote.

Choreography:
Being a contest that will value bachata as the main dance, this style has a higher impact than the others when scoring the choreography of the show. The final score is from 0 to 10.

Technical area:
It is the most complex because it is understood that this is an amateur competition and the technique is not the strong point, but it will be highly appreciated that coaches and choreographers submit the proper execution of the various movements without losing the essence and style that characterise such rhythms.

Thus, it will be scored from 0 to 10 using the following criteria:

● The overall difficulty of the choreography.
●  The correct execution of spins.
● The correct execution of acrobatics.
● The coordination of all its members.
● The choreographic elements that are presented.
● Lines and fronts used are clearly defined.
● Coherence and cohesion choreography.
● If flight or acrobatic movements performed, is evaluated in this area.

This area is valued at 30% of the final vote.

Aesthetics area: It will be scored from 0 to 10, taking into account items like the staging, costumes care regarding the relationship with the choreography, the overall aesthetics of the dancers. Since the participants of the competition are schools, it is an area where we do not seek ostentation in the production of clothing. This area is valued at 15% of the final vote.

Music and dance in synchronization:
By using afro-antillean music, we respect the styles that are unique for each genre, scoring the correct execution and not only is implementation. We reward originality, and by that we mean not to copy sequences used by other groups or known professionals. This area is valued at 25% of the final vote.

After this, there will be a management review of the jury for quality vote (in case of a tie or need) and checking the score. If there were any doubt, the videos are reviewed to have a more objective vote and the announcement of the final score will be delayed for brief moments. The final result will be announced on stage.
